Let us help you... years of being asked about taking trading ins, we are now offering customers a Trade-in option on the purchase of a new bike.
Selling a used bike can be pretty easy when it's your business. We can quickly determine your chances at selling your bike and at what value you might expect We can prepare your bike for sale, list it, monitor the listing, collect your monies and ship your bike. In addition, you will probably realize a higher value for your bike as you will benefit from our reputation as a full-service bicycle shop.
To ensure that all parties expectations are met or exceeded, we have established a set framework for initiating a TradeIn transaction. Our framework is based on our experience in selling bikes through the years.

Trade-in Value The expected Trade-in Value of the bike and/or frameset must exceed $500. Expected value will be determined based on eBay comparables or replacement cost, depending on the item.
In store credit only - Trade-ins can be used against the purchase of any bike or frame in our store with a price exceeding $750 or more. Upon sale of your Trade-in item, we will create a store credit for your proceeds, net of any applicable fees.
Fixed Price - Most Trade-in items will be sold as used through a listing on eBay. You will be provided an opportunity to establish pricing parameters (Asking Price and Minimum Price) prior to listing. We find that this method of selling manages all parties' expectations in the best way. Listing may be for fixed price or auction style.
Expenses of Sale - Your proceeds will be reduced by eBay fees and shipping expense. (The expected shipping expense is a pass through cost paid by the buyer.) Note: is bike does not reach reserve seller (you) will be responsible for fee accrued during process.
Preparation Costs - You will be responsible for the labor or repair costs of any work required to prepare your Trade-in bike for sale. No work would be performed without your approval. Any necessary repairs would be determined at time of check-in.
Limited Trade-in Slots - Due to our limited storage space, we may not be able to accept Trade-ins at all times. If we are unable to take your bike immediately, we will call you as soon as a slot opens up. Our waiting list will be maintained in the order of customers contacting us.
Trade-in credit will not be applied to new bike purchase until bike is sold.
